The Society of Broadcast Engineers will present a special webcast on Tuesday, Oct. 9, from 8-9 p.m. EDT. The webcast, “The SBE and You,” will offer members and chapters an opportunity to hear from the society’s leaders on current issues and projects.
Hosted by president Chriss Scherer and president-elect Barry Thomas, the program will review current activities, planning processes and educational efforts, and deliver updates on ongoing projects and programs. More than half the program will be devoted to a Q&A, where participants can e-mail, call in or message their questions to be answered live.
Individual members and SBE chapters are encouraged to participate. A link to the webcast will be available at the SBE Web site and will be activated shortly before the program begins.
