Screen Service Broadcasting Acquires US$1 Million Mexican Order
Screen Service Broadcasting Technologies SpA (SSBT), through its Miami-based subsidiary, Screen Service America (SSA), has acquired an order worth US$1 million from the Mexican broadcasting corporation Multimedios Televisión.
The contract foresees an SSBT supply of latest-generation television transmitters, of which two are digital for the broadcasting of HD signals. Output power varies from 1 to 10 kW.
With this agreement, the Monterrey-based Mexican television group will be in a position to improve the coverage of its signals that currently cover all of Mexico, as well as into the neighbouring U.S. states of Texas and California. The short term objective is to cover 100 per cent of Mexican territory and part of Texas by fully broadcasting the signal in digital.
SSA was incorporated in 2005 and is active in the marketing and distribution of SSBT equipment for the television broadcasting sector. SSA also supplies post-sales services ad assistance to clients thanks to its strategic position.
