Insight, the nation's ninth-largest cable operator, will use SeaChange International's video-on-demand systems in 10 markets.
The systems will be deployed by November in Rockford and Champaign, Ill.; Bloomington, Evanston and Kokomo, Ind.; Covington, Lexington and Louisville, Ky.; and Columbus, Ohio.
The VOD platform will replace Diva Systems' VOD equipment and will support Motorola DCT-2000 set-top boxes, SourceMedia's SourceGuide electronic program guide and Liberate's middleware applications.
Insight has 1.4 million subscribers. The deployment will cover 214,000 VOD-enabled subscribers.
