Senate Commerce Committee Approves CPB Nominees

published The Senate Commerce Science, Transportation Committee unanimously approved the nominations of two members to the board of directors for the Corp. for Public Broadcasting.
David Pryor, the former three-term senator and governor of Arkansas, was approved for a term on the board that expires in 2008.
Chris Boskin, a magazine publisher and a member of the board of KQED in San Francisco, was also approved for a seat on the CPB board.
