Sennheiser Plant in Ireland Burns

A Sennheiser headphone production facility in Tullamore, Ireland was damaged by fire
early Monday morning, according to a release from the company. No one was injured in the blaze, which caused "substantial damage" to the facility, according to Peter Callan, general manager. Operations were shut down, but expected to resume in "a relatively short period of time," the release stated. The cause of the fire is as yet unknown.

In addition to the Tullamore production facility, Sennheiser has three other factories; two in Germany and one in the United States.
