ACS’ Elettra MediaLogger application and SHS Multimedia’s MediaIndex technology will be the first software integration to be carried out. Elettra MediaLogger digitizes and encodes incoming video signals - from live feed or recording devices - into multiple formats and automatically extracts the metadata from the audio and video content.
The SHS MediaIndex technology is a new high speed key-frame detection system whose central points are accuracy and execution speed, achieved by working directly in the compressed domain. The product will be launched at NAB2003.
