Signiant featured the new ability of Version 8.2 of its Content Distribution Management (CDM) software to allow the freeform exchange of digital media assets between businesses and individuals during IBC2009. The new capability allows media companies to build in interconnecting networks to work more efficiently.
Signiant’s CDM Version 8.2 includes enhancements such as the ability for Signiant central managers to securely automate workflows and file movement across multiple organizations.
The new Media Exchange Publish Point module makes Signiant appropriate for tasks such as electronic newsgathering, user-generated content or any other remote content contribution applications.
With the module, content can quickly be published into categories for use by numerous user-defined media workflows in the Media Manager. It also can be used as a portal for sharing content with multiple individual users.
