Singapore: Changi Airport Opens Panasonic HD Lounge
Changi Airport in Singapore, one of the most tech-savvy cities in Asia, is luring travelers with its latest attraction, officially christened by government officials last week: a large new lounge featuring a variety of HD screens and other cutting-edge technological attractions.
The Hi-D Lounge is the result of a partnership between Panasonic Asia Pacific and the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore. The facility boasts the largest screen that Matsushita makes in its Panasonic-brand line—a 103-inch plasma display—as well as smaller HD screens of varying sizes located throughout the facility, which includes a tech-equipped bar.
Featured content includes Discovery HD and National Geographic HD, according to Travel Daily News.
The lounge is located in the Departure Transit Mall of Terminal 2 at Changi Airport.
