‘Slumdog’ Coming to Blu-ray in Late March
At deadline, several reliable online Web sites speculated that the winner of eight Oscars last month, including Best Picture—“Slumdog Millionaire”—would be released on Blu-ray Disc with at least two extra hours of bonus content on Tuesday, March 31. Details were still sketchy.
Meanwhile, several new titles broke into the Blu-ray Disc Top 10 sales chart in the most recently tallied week, while “the Dark Knight” and “Iron Man” continue to remain viable attractions many weeks after their disc launch dates.
The previous week’s leader, the computer-animated sequel to the Madagascar franchise, slipped to 5th place, while the three-disc “The Bourne Trilogy” package came and left after a couple of weekly outings.

1. “Body of Lies” (Warner Brothers)
2. “High School Musical 3: Senior Year” (Disney)
