Solid Signal Now Marketing Antennas for DTV Consumers
Satellite and antenna retailer Solid Signal has added what it calls "Terrestrial Digital HDTV antennas" to its virtual shelves online. Terrestrial Digital (more widely known by the brand name Antennas Direct) now is offering in 10 models through Solid Signal, which will also carry Terrestrial Digital's newest shell-shaped model, The Lacrosse, scheduled for release later this month.
Solid Signal offers virtually all its satellite and outdoor antennas online, including the digital DB4 multi-directional HDTV antenna (DB4) with an approximate 13.7 dB gain, a multi-directional unit available that Solid Signals said covers the full UHF spectrum and can handle areas where HD transmitters are working in multiple directions.
Solid Signal was founded in 2002 and located in West Bloomfield, Mich. and Terrestrial Digital, founded two years ago, is a St. Louis-based manufacturer and distributor.
