Spanish post house deploys Resolve R250
Spanish post-production company Infinia has purchased da Vinci's new Resolve R250 digital imaging suite and accompanying Impresario control panel. Infinia is the first European post-production facility to deploy da Vinci's latest color grading technology.
A team of five colorists at Infinia's Barcelona and Madrid locations perform post-production color grading and effects on commercials, music videos, TV movies, documentaries, short subjects and feature films.
At Infinia, the Impresario-equipped Resolve R250 will rely on a DVS SAN with four streams of 2K, connected to a Spirit 2K using Bones, and three workstations running Autodesk Flame.
Based on da Vinci's CORE (CUDATM Optimized Resolve Engine), the new Resolve uses the massively parallel processing of NVIDIA’s supercomputing to deliver fast operation for demanding color enhancement and image processing applications.
