Stations Get Extension on FCC Form 323 Due Date
The Federal Communications Commission has delayed when broadcasters need to file Form 323, which provides ownership information about station facilities.
The commission expanded the number of broadcasters required to file the form and is waiting for the Office of Management and Budget to approve the revised document. All commercial full-power AM, FM, TV, LPTV and Class A stations, as well as entities with attributable interests in these stations, must fill out FCC Form 323 with information current as of Nov. 1.
FCC Form 323 had been due by Nov. 1, but now the Media Bureau will issue a notice with a new filing deadline after it receives the okay from OMB to use the new form.
