Storage Visions 2003 Increases Technical Focus

Storage Visions 2003, to be held at the Stardust in Las Vegas January 7-8, will address technology and market issues for the design and implementation of HDTV, home entertainment and entertainment industry products. The range of products includes storage, transmission and delivery requirements for creating and distributing multimedia content.

Conference chairman Tom Coughlin stresses the conference's increased technical focus by noting, "Access to increased revenues are linked to the uninterrupted flow of huge digital media files...[which] is creating radical changes in the storage networking market supporting content creation and content distribution."

The conference has 16 sessions, panels and keynote speakers and so far, over 60 companies are involved. Major sponsors include Multimedia Research Group, Seagate Technology, SMPTE, MPAA and the MPEG-4 Forumn.
