Studio Puma installs multi-format Axon router
Project Manager Frederic Dubor uses an AXON multiformat NV5128 router at the Studios Puma facility.
Studios Puma, owner of two TV studios and two edit suites in Boulogne, France, has recently installed an AXON NV5128 multiformat router.
The system will be used to manage mixed format signals throughout the facility.
The NV5128 supports all current digital and analog formats: HD, SD, analog video, analog audio, AES and time code. All signals are switched digitally in the NV5128. Analog video and audio inputs and outputs are converted to and from digital in the router. This eliminates the expense and complexity of external converters and cabling. It also makes it possible to cross-connect analog and digital devices with total flexibility.
