Asian media and entertainment company Star tapped Sundance Digital to equip its Hong Kong broadcast facility with the Titan multichannel automation system.
Sundance will install expandable Titan automation systems at the Harbourfront broadcast center in Kowloon and at a nearby disaster recovery site. Configurations will include TitanSync auto-failover redundancy, Intelli-Sat Record Manager and Sundance archive manager together with Masstech MassStore storage. The Sundance automation will control an Omneon Spectrum video server, Evertz branding devices and Quartz routing/switching.
The new Titan system will be phased in to replace an obsolete system, according to Sundance Digital.
