Tahoe to bring HD to cable DVR applications

published The role of DVRs in transforming the television viewing experience is likely to extend to the HD arena with the help of newly introduced HD digital video recorders like the Pace Micro Technology Tahoe.
Linux-based, the Tahoe uses Pace’s EngineWare middleware for cable set-top boxes and comes with a 160GB SATA hard drive and dual HD tuners. The device, which complies with Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification (DOCSIS), can serve as a cable modem as well.
