UK-based Tandberg will show off its new products for cable, satellite, terrestrial and telco networks at IBC2004 in September. The company will launch an HD version of its Intelligent Compression Engine (ICE) for MPEG-4 part-10/AVC and Windows Media 9 Series.
The company will also unveil an end-to-end video-on-demand system. The On Demand ecosystem includes the company's Encoding Studio for content ingest; N2 Broadband's back office systems, the latest Entone video service and the EQ6800 high-density cable EdgeQAM.
