Telecast Fiber Systems will introduce Mamba, a new integrated fiber-optic system at IBC2004.
Mamba is the company’s new product family of fully integrated fiber-optic infrastructures in mobile production, stadium, campus and fixed broadcast facilities. It comprises a line of optical distribution products that have been developed to increase the signal capacity of a production facility, while decreasing system complexity.
The system integrates fiber into audio and video patchbays, as well as the router, providing a complete facility backbone that is lightweight, expandable, space-saving, and future-proof. Telecast has partnered with equipment vendors to ensure seamless integration of the Mamba for consistent interfaces, a broad range of applications and capabilities, and an easy transition to HD.
