Telenor, Nokia pair up to streamline access to both partners’ services
Nokia and Telenor are teaming up to bring expanded mobile services to subscribers. Going forward, they have agreed on business models and further mobile Internet services collaboration. Scheduled for launch in the second half of 2008 across a broad range of devices, specific Nokia models will be customized to provide easy access to selected services from both companies, including Nokia Maps, N-Gage and Telenor Music Store and Mobile TV.
"Openness is at the core of the Ovi environment, and we are constantly looking for new ways to offer consumers a great variety of experiences that they can choose from according to their own preferences," said Timo Ihamuotila, executive VP of sales for Nokia.
