Telestream will demo new versions of its FlipFactory automation digital HD and MXF workflows at NAB.
FlipFactory performs SD to HD conversion and the new version has expanded MXFR format support. Additionally, enhanced multi-server capabilities offer failover back-up for broadcast applications.
Also, Telestream has added Apple support for its Xscan storage area network file system. Users in Final Cut Pro workgroups can connect to an Xscan network and exchange media using many types of professional video devices--NLEs, asset management systems and streaming servers.
Flip4Mac and MAP software tools will also be featured at the broadcasters conference in April. Flip4Mac MXF import component allows users to directly import MXF media from Sony eVTR and XDCam systems for Mac users. Telestream will also debut a Mac-friendly version of MAPone, a personal IP delivery software tool designed for videographers and journalists to use for digital dailies and news cuts.
