Thales Broadcast & Multimedia showed a number of products at IBC2003, including transmitters, network delivery of DTV and multimedia services and IP solutions for broadcasters.
The product display included:
- Thales' UHF Ultimate and VHF Optimum Evolution. New fully integrated, compact transmitting system including cooling devices.
- DTV Over Broadcast Networks. Among the solutions provided for terrestrial broadcast and broadband satellite applications, Thales introduced scalable and secured solutions to deliver DTV services to regional sites.
- Video and Multimedia Services Over Broadband Networks. Thales unveiled a new turnkey broadband service platform to deliver TV programs, VOD and associated interactive services over DSL.
- Unique IP Broadcasting Solutions. A new cohesive end-to-end system for Internet delivery via Digital TV networks.
