Therapy, a post facility in Santa Monica, CA, has purchased a Quantel iQ digital intermediate system for color grading and editorial design.
Quantel's iQ handles pre-vis assembly, color grading, trailers and deliverables at up to 4K, all in real time and within a single, integrated system.
Formed in 2005, Therapy offers short and long form editorial, finishing, VFX design and audio mixing services. The facility noted iQ's timesaving ability to set specific controls on color adjustments and formats for both HD and SD on the same timeline.
Therapy is marketing the system to video game developers and commercial ad producers.
