Thomson recently announced a new addition to its Xensium dealer program—Lerro Corp., an independent video production and broadcast equipment reseller located in Norristown, Pa. To be certified for the Xensium program, members must undergo special training and be able to demonstrate a complete Infinity product workflow including the Infinity camcorder, REV PRO disks and drives and the EDIUS NLE system.
Lerro has completed all requirements for the Xensium and plans a special Nov. 12 open house and technology showcase to introduce the Infinity camcorder to its clientele.
"The Infinity camcorder really answers every customer's question in regards to providing a robust system that offers a choice of format, compression, and solid-state recording," said Matthew Murphy, Lerro Corp. president. "All of the benefits of a file-based workflow are wholly embraced by the Thomson Grass Valley Infinity DMC, and we believe it will be very successful in our region."
Lerro has been in business for more than 50 years and is a long term supplier of Thomson Grass Valley video products. The company specializes in system design, production equipment sales and support services.
