Thomson Grass Valley digital wireless camera system shown at Washington D.C. news show
Thomson demonstrated its Grass Valley Digital Wireless Triax Camera System at the annual White House News Photographers’ Association (WHNPA) “Eyes of History” gala, a black-tie gathering of the best photojournalists in the United States May 22.
The Grass Valley digital wireless Triax camera system was used extensively at the World Athletics Championships in Paris last summer, as well as for numerous car races throughout Europe. It will also be used to cover the Summer Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
The wireless system offers a range of approximately 500 feet (150 meters), enabling videographers to get shots from positions that are just not accessible using a wired camera.
