The Kalypso Duo Video Production Center features four keyers per M/E, eight-output animation still-store system and six video/key channels of internal digital video effects.
Thomson has introduced the Kalypso Duo Video Production Center, a new vision mixer that can be upgraded from SD to HD with a simple software installation.
The Kalypso Duo vision mixer features the familiar user interface, control panel, and advanced production technologies found in the original Kalypso Classic System.
Users can upgrade the Kalypso Duo to the Kalypso HD Video Production Center, which is switchable between native HD and SD production.
Other features include:
- A new marco feature that allows users to create multiple keystrokes and recall them from a single user-specified panel button;
- Four keyers per M/E, eight-output animation still-store system and six video/key channels of internal digital video effects;
- Support for up to 90 inputs and an optional RGB color correction for every keyer and background to complement its built-in YUV video processing capability.
The Kalypso Duo system is available in 2-,3- and 4 M/E versions and supports 1-,2-and 4 M/E control panels.
