Time Warner Cable Deploys VOD With nCube

published Time Warner Cable's Southwest Division will deploy nCube servers to deliver video-on-demand to 65,000 subscribers in El Paso and Corpus Christi, Texas in early 2003. The MSO's Southwest Division serves 500,000 customers.
nCube's Gigabit Ethernet transport solution includes the n4x video server, which provides cable operators about 200,000 hours of storage and delivery of up to 53,000 streams. The n4x supports more than 500,000 homes.
nCube powers VOD in eleven markets throughout the U.S. including Los Angeles, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Jackson, Miss., Green Bay, Wis., Memphis, Tenn. and Liberty and Staten Island, N.Y.
