Time Warner Debuts Caller ID on TV
Starting in October, some TV viewers in San Antonio will not have to jump up during their favorite shows to see who's calling when the phone rings. Time Warner Cable San Antonio has rolled out a caller ID service that displays caller information on TV sets.
Starting Oct. 10, subscribers of both digital phone and digital cable will see a small Caller ID display on the left hand corner of their TV screens. Subs also have the option to use the "on" and "off" feature and view the last 10 callers. If the person is already on the phone, a call waiting feature will display on the screen.
The service will be available to more than 50,000 households, according to TWC.
