Time Warner Cable systems in New York, Houston and San Antonio, Texas have launched local advertising initiatives on digital channels using new SeaChange software.
According to SeaChange, the Time Warner systems are among the first to capture digital ad business by upgrading their existing SeaChange insertion platforms with the company's Transport Stream Inserters and the Digital Transcoder software. The software enhancements integrate with existing SeaChange Spot analog insertion systems and any digital stream remultiplexor. Transport Stream Inserter supports up to 96 channels of digital ad insertion, merges inventory with SeaChange Spot libraries and any third-party traffic and billing systems, and can handle HD ad insertions.
