Time Warner Using Pioneer Set-Tops for HD Cable

published Pioneer Electronics is shipping its Voyager 3510HD digital set-top box to Time Warner Cable, offering viewers the ability to view HD programs in all ATSC formats supported by the cable industry, including 720p, 1080i and 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios.
The Voyager 3510HD features graphics over HD video, HD decoding capabilities, aspect ratio control, video up/down conversion, DVI connections, dual processors, display of analog and MPEG-2 channels, memory configurations up to 32 MB of SDRAM and an ATSC decoder.
Pioneer says it has deployed over 10 million analog and digital cable set-top boxes in the U.S.
