Triofilm selects Lawo mc²66 audio mixing console
Lawo’s mc²66 audio mixing console is at the audio heart of a new 14-camera, HD/SD TV OB van owned by Triofilm, a technical service provider of TV broadcasts. Triofilm operates mainly in the field of sporting events, such as the World Cup. In addition, TV shows are often produced using Triofilm’s mobile control rooms.
The 16+8+16 console, featuring a Broadcast Solutions panel fitted in the control surface, has a capacity of 2 x 48 DSP channels. The console’s core provides up to 128 AES I/Os, 128 analog inputs, 56 microphone inputs and 138 analog outputs. The MADI-redundant stage boxes comprise three DALLIS frames that can be positioned anywhere on the production stage. Their PSUs also have built-in redundancy.
