TV One ships multiformat video processor
TV One’s new dual-channel C2-7200 multi-format processor supports virtually every analog-to-HDTV conversion.
Besides converting between analog and HD-SDI sources, the 1RU C2-7200 additionally combines the functionality of an HD video scaler, a multiformat seamless switcher, a twin-window picture-in-picture device, chroma/luma keyer, aspect ratio converter and logo inserter.
The unit features two independent scaling engines and two video mixers, all utilizing TV One's CORIO2 technology. CORIO2 circuitry is based on a reprogrammable conversion engine that goes beyond the fixed capabilities of third-party chip sets commonly used as the central building blocks in traditional video processors.
The C2-7200 offers 4:4:4 processing to provide full-bandwidth color and precise keying (including soft keys). The device includes 11 inputs accommodating multiple SD video signals, as well as all HDTV formats and PC resolutions up to 2048 x 2048. A pair of independent output channels each offer SDI (SD or HD), DVI-I, any RGB format, and CV and SV.
Ten programmable front panel buttons and a shift button are supplied to control input selection and presets. The device can also be remotely controlled via an RS-232 or IP interface. A Windows control panel is included and the optional CC-300 hardware control panel provides the look and feel of a production switcher.
