T-VIPS AS and Triveni Digital have announced their collaboration in developing a new Program and System Information (PSIP) creation and management system for broadcasters.
The cProcessor product from T-VIPS has been teamed with Triveni Digital’s GuideBuilder to provide users with increased power and flexibility in creating and deploying error-free PSIP information.

Trivini’s GuideBuilder is used to generate PSIP data and the T-VIPS cProcessor technology ingests the resulting information and insures correct transmission of the PSIP information. Correct treatment of PSIP is essential, as any errors can cause problems with DTV tuners locating channels, absence of closed captioning and/or programs not being listed in electronic program guides.
