TVTV Selects VCI Solutions' Orion
Tanana Valley Television, owners and operators of KFXF Fox 7 and K13XD CBS, in Fairbanks, Alaska has chosen VCI Solutions' Orion as its key business system for sales, traffic, and accounting operations.
TVTV, a locally owned and operated media outlet, launched its first television network KFXF Fox 7 in Fairbanks County in 1992 and in 1996 added K13XD as the CBS affiliate with an emphasis on local news. The flexibility of VCI's Orion will enable TVTV to streamline their operational workflow and maximize revenue opportunities, according to Chris Fry, station manager of Tanana Valley Television.
"As we looked to upgrade our system, Orion's functionality, reporting, and ease-of-use stood out among the crowd," Fry said. "We are excited about the opportunities that Orion will provide us as we continue to grow our operation."
Springfield, Mass.-based VCI is a supplier of media revenue solutions for the broadcast and cable industries.
