The UK's two primary industry events — Broadcast LIVE and VideoForum — will combine next year, forming a single event that appears to be named Broadcast LIVE and VideoForum 2008. The event will take place 30 January–1 February at Earls Court 2 in London.
The announcement says the merger will benefit the industry through a doubling of the exhibition size with many more exhibitors in attendance; an increased seminar program; and through new features and networking opportunities, including new demo areas.
