Uncle Post Production selects Tektronix for monitoring, quality control
Uncle's online edit suites include VGA-based signal monitoring displays driven by the WVR600 to provide continuous monitoring on the control desk and immediate out-of-limits warnings of the active video or audio material.
Uncle Post Production has selected Tektronix monitoring equipment for quality control assurance throughout its facility.
Uncle, which is owned by London-based Farm Group's latest facility, will use the Tektronix WVR600 waveform rasterizers in key monitoring positions.
Uncle's online edit suites include VGA-based signal monitoring displays driven by the WVR600 to provide continuous monitoring on the control desk and immediate out-of-limits warnings of the active video or audio material.
The facilities are designed to provide editors and technical staff with high-visibility workstations. The color-grading suite is similarly equipped, providing colorists with the clarity and configurability they demand from test and measurement tools and seamless integration into the control desk.
A central equipment room also includes an additional WVR600, allowing monitoring of any signal within the complex via an extra-large, 40-inch, centrally located, display. This makes special use of Tektronix's FlexVu display, enabling customizable visibility of important elements of the video signal in a quadrant screen format.
