U.S. Air Force Academy installs Daktronics display technology for fans

published Daktronics has designed, manufactured and installed a new integrated video, scoring and sound system at the United States Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs, CO.
The academy’s Cadet Ice Arena, built in 1968, got a new LED video display measuring approximately 12ft by 19.5ft. Also installed in the arena were new Daktronics four-sided and end-wall scoreboards and four new Daktronics message displays measuring approximately 2.5ft by 9.5ft each.
Daktronics LED video displays use RGB LED technology to present live and recorded video images, animation and graphics with high brightness levels and wide-angle visibility.
