User-Generated News Show To Debut on Headline News
"News To Me," said to be the first cable news program entirely comprised of user-generated video, will debut on CNN's Headline News May 19. The show expands upon CNN's Exchange initiative, whereby amateur clips, or "I-Reports," are vetted for use in the networks various news programs. For "News To Me," viewers can submit material through the I-Report link or by e-mail.
Eric Lanford, a recipient of 12 Southeast Emmy awards, will host "News to Me." Lanford also contributes to "Storyline" and produces "Feed Your Mind," both on TBS.
"News To Me" will bow on Headline News on Saturday at 12:30 p.m. Eastern and subsequently air Saturday and Sunday at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m.
