TV8/TV17, a division of Vail Resorts, has deployed an Omneon Spectrum for storage and play-out at its digital broadcast facility.
In building the new facility, the station integrated an Omneon server system to provide reliable play-out of both channels and ensure uninterrupted delivery of programming including "Good Morning Vail" the number one rated news and information program in the area.
The Omneon spectrum is built on an open architecture and supports third-party applications for control and transmission, media management, archiving and collaborative production.
