Victory Studios adds Panasonic DVCPRO HD deck
The Panasonic AJ-HD1200A VTR includes IEEE 1394 FireWire IEEE 1394 and HD SDI interfaces.
Victory Studios, based in Seattle, WA, has purchased a Panasonic DVCPRO AJ-HD1200A videotape recorder to complement its growing Apple Final Cut Pro HD editing business. The deck includes FireWire IEEE 1394 and HD SDI interfaces to support Avid Nitris HD-DS and Adrenaline HD editing systems. The HD1200A is also available to outside clients for rental from Victory Studios.
The HD1200A plays numerous video formats including DVCPRO 25/50, DVCPRO HD, DV, MiniDV and DVCAM. It also records DVCPRO HD-EX in both progressive and interlaced formats. A built-in converter allows for upconversion or downconversion during playback.
Victory Studios offers a full range of SD and HD video services, including creative services, studio and equipment rentals, production and crew services, telecine, color correction, audio services, animation, editing, DVD authoring and audio/video duplication.
