Video wall backs NBC’s new studio set for ‘Sunday Night Football’
NBC Sports kicked off its “NBC Sunday Night Football” studio show, broadcast in HD, with a 12-cube video wall behind the talent on the show’s new set. The video wall, in a 4 x 3 cube configuration that produces a 16:9 aspect ratio for viewers, displays a range of HD content, including game clips and other video feeds plus logos, stats and additional graphics.
Vista Systems Spyder software handles 16 varied inputs plus keys and provides smooth image motion throughout the video wall. Spyder generates multiple PIPs on the cubes simultaneously while displaying content anywhere on the array. The video wall software is capable of supporting multiple display technologies at different configurations, resolutions and formats from a single point of control.
