Videotek to Debut New Error Detection Module at IBC2004
By TVTechnology
published Videotek will debut its new SQM-275 Serial Digital Macroblock Detection Module at IBC2004 this month in Amsterdam.
The SQM-275 is designed to detect errors in the signal path and pinpoint the location of the error. It monitors serial digital video for the presence of standard def macroblocks. Upon detection, the SQM system will send an alarm to an operator and will also log the time and duration of MPEG-2 macroblocks that are caused by overly compressed video or when it has a high bit error rate.
Videotek will be in Booth 7.721 at IBC2004, Sept. 10-14. For more information, visit http://www.ibc.org/.
