Vietnam Television selects Leitch's Whiplash2
Vietnam Television (VTV) selected Leitch Technology's Whiplash2 slow motion/instant replay system for use during VTV's broadcast of the Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, held in Vietnam from December 5-13, 2003.
The purchase includes a total of six Whiplash2 systems, supporting digital inputs and outputs. Configured in a "master-slave" fashion, Whiplash2 allows a multi-camera angle capture of live action in SEA Games Northern Stadium. Vietnam Television also purchased the SLO-MCS3000 Whiplash2 control panel, allowing multi-unit control by a single operator.
Powered by Leitch's postproduction technology, Whiplash2 is a complete slow motion/instant replay system with a proven track record in stadium and outdoor broadcasting applications. Whiplash2 can operate as a stand-alone unit or within a network configuration and can expand to suit the needs of live event and sports broadcasters, while also remaining within reach of independent truck companies, cable operators, university stadiums and others.
