VOOM, the all-HD satellite network launched by Rainbow has introduced its first 24/7 HD news channel, HDNews (HDN)
The channel delivers news headlines, weather information and sports highlights. Newscasters anchor from Woodbury, NY, while regional correspondents are based in New York City, Dallas, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami.
HDN is headed by veteran news director Will J. Wright, who served as news director of New York's WWOR for nine years and was most recently executive producer for BET Nightly News.
