Wal-Mart Stores recently selected Fujinon's HD Studio and ENG-style lenses to upgrade the production studio at its headquarters in Bentonville, Ark. Four HA22x7.2ESM HD studio and four HA17x7.8E HD ENG-style lenses were purchased as part of the upgrade.
The HA22x7.2ESM HD studio lens has a focal length range of 7.2 to 158mm or 14.4 to 316mm with a 2X extender and a zoom ratio of 22X.
The studio lenses will be affixed on four new Ikegami HD studio cameras and one Ikegami handheld HD camera. The remaining HD ENG lenses will complement Sony HD camcorders used in the field.
The HA22x7.2ESM HD studio lens has a focal length range of 7.2 to 158mm or 14.4 to 316mm with a 2X extender and a zoom ratio of 22X. It features Fujinon’s DIGI POWER Servo, which provides operators with more precise control of zoom, focus and iris functions. The DIGI POWER servo provides greater repeatability and offers high positioning accuracy.
The HA17x7.8E high definition ENG/EFP lens also offers digital control with Fujinon’s Digi Power features. By utilizing Fujinon's exclusive Super EBC coating technology and a new Inner Focusing system, chromatic aberrations have been minimized throughout the zoom range.
