Wegener Snags $3.2 Million Digital Signage Project

published Wegener Corp. of Duluth, Ga., has received an order valued at $3.2 million from Satellite Store Link to launch a digital signage project in Mexico. Wegener equipment will be used to distribute and display content in 1,200 bank locations throughout that nation.
The setup will include iPump media servers, IP-based peripheral decoders and Compel network control for live or store-forward content. The order from SSL, a content distributor based in Morales Polanco, Mexico, falls in Wegener's third fiscal quarter of 2007. Shipments are scheduled for delivery during the company's fiscal third and fourth quarters.
