WGCL-TV, Meredith Broadcasting’s CBS affiliate in Atlanta, will move to an all-digital workflow by adding Sundance Digital's NewsLink to its news operation. Sister station WSMV-TV in Nashville, TN is also slated to receive a NewsLink package this summer. The WGCL installation is scheduled for 2004.
The system will operate in conjunction with Avid's iNews. The combined Sundance and Avid software products offer an end-to-end solution for newsroom workflow management.
NewsLink v2.0, the company’s latest addition of their newsroom automation system, adds integrated control of cameras, switchers and audio to existing control of servers, CGs and still stores.
