Wheatstone to exhibit new digital television console at IBC2003
Wheatstone and Audioarts Engineering are exhibiting several new products at IBC2003.
The D-9TV directs any source to any fader and features integral dynamics/EQ functions and snapshot recall.
On display will be the D-9TV digital television console that targets the needs of mid-market facilities. The modular series is available with four to 40 input fader channels with sample rate converters on each digital input. D-9TV directs any source to any fader and features integral dynamics/EQ functions and snapshot recall. Powerful mix-minus, monitoring and talkback capabilities; 5.1, stereo master, mono and subgroup outputs complete a powerful complement of features along with an operator oriented control interface. Multiple control surfaces can share common resources.
Wheatstone will also show its BRIDGE audio network router. The BRIDGE provides a practical and compact solution for new and growing studios with mixed audio standards. It accepts multiple network interface modules - each one transmitting 64 channels of simultaneous bi-directional digital audio (plus intercage communication, logic signals, X-Y controller commands and auxiliary RS-232 data streams) across one duplex fiber optic link or a single CAT-5 wire. The BRIDGE is stackable for large system configurations.
The ADR-32 can be populated with modular I/O cards (8 inputs per AES digital card, 4 stereo inputs or outputs per analog card) for an up to 32 x 32 matrix.
Wheatstone's subsidiary, Audioarts Engineering, will display its rack mount ADR-32 compact digital audio router which features front panel X-Y control and a built-in monitor speaker. Designed to interface with Wheatstone and Audioarts digital console source display strips, the router can be populated with modular I/O cards (8 inputs per AES digital card, 4 stereo inputs or outputs per analog card) for an up to 32 x 32 matrix. An Ethernet and two RS-485 ports facilitate communication with X-Y controllers, consoles and automation systems. The ADR-32 is configured via provided Wheatstone X-Point software. Optional event scheduler software is available.
