Wi-Fi TV has launched its eclectic live TV Web site.
Visitors can sample the site’s 200-plus, live TV station links that play in the integral Wi-Fi TV Virtual TV Screen for up to five minutes. The site is compatible with both Windows Media and Real Player file formats.
A free 30-day trial is being offered, after which members are charged a one-year subscription price of $11.88. Members get unlimited access to more than 200 basic channels immediately and will have access to premium content for additional fees.
Premium content will include both additional channels and downloadable clips optimized for multiple devices including Apple iPods.
Viewers looking for conventional network programming may be disappointed. Most of the currently posted content, from a wide range of countries, is basic fare, including many government, religious, educational, corporate channels and live Web cams.
