WTNH, the Lin Television-owned ABC affiliate in New Haven, CT, last week launched a news, weather and traffic service for Web-enabled cell phones.
The complimentary service provides viewers on the go with access to traffic cameras along Interstate 95, flight times and delays, stock quotes and movie listings in addition to local news and weather, including the latest reports and Doppler radar.
The station has teamed with Local Solutions Network (LSN) to offer the service. LSN currently offers news, weather, sports and other information at more than 100 local market affiliates across the country.
To access information, users press a few keys on their Web-enabled handset. The service is available at MobileWTNH.com.
