Yes, Virginia, a ‘Roaring Fire’ is Available on Blu-ray
Now that Virginia is convinced after all these decades that there truly is a Santa Claus, a grown-up Virginia’s next logical question might be, “But is that crackling fireplace video that some TV stations loop on Christmas morning also available in full-blown Blu-ray 1080p video with digital audio?”
And the answer, of course, straight from the hearth is “yes.”
HDScape, in its Visions of Tranquility series, is offering this year’s yuletide fire in Blu-ray splendor with options for audio accompaniment—one option of which is merely the crackling of the flames themselves, the way fire was meant to be enjoyed. Other audio options include Pachelbel’s Canon (yes, our first choice, too) or Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata.”
The HD fire, which apparently was sold out earlier in the month, is “on sale” for about $12 plus shipping and handling, according to HDScape.
